Hey guys, I would just like to take a moment and thank you for a great day of fun, relaxation, and comradery. It was a beautiful day to enjoy the outdoors and to make new friends. I look forward to next year, if possible, and thank you for your generosity and for exerting the effort to organize this event. Have a blessed year!
Thank you for allowing me to attend this wonderful event. It was so good to have the fellowship and fun with all these veterans. And the lunch was over the top! I hope you will allow me to come back next year to share in this event
"I had a Wonderful time. This is a good time to talk with other veterans and build family. Great time thank you."
Stephen,
Thanks for the invitation to Enduring Gratitude on Saturday. I am very pleased I participated. I think my friend, Joel would agree. It was a well run event, a top-notch facility and a fine group of veterans and volunteers.
John,
I had to fly to Florida early today so I did not have much time to email you once I got back home. I wanted to make sure to thank each volunteer, each sponsor, each behind the scene person and you for an amazing experience. It had been years since I have hunted let alone took out the shotgun to just do some target shooting. This was something I did not know I needed as bad as I did. Something just seemed to come out of me that had been somewhat suppressed for quite some time.
The fellow veterans I had the pleasure of hanging out with most of the day were just amazing. Just like the days we were in uniform, we connected, encouraged each other, celebrated and mentored each other. Given I go to many events, even ones that are focused on veterans, I have to say the Enduring Gratitude organization and events set a high bar. Not trying to take anything away from the others, but this one is the most sincere, organized and truly understands what veterans who have served, especially in a time of war, really need.
The guest speakers message of "Service" could not have been any better. When many of us leave the service, after years of commitment, and giving so much of ourselves, we are at times searching for the next place to serve. We feel somewhat incomplete if we cannot find our role, purpose and what is the next calling. I loved the message and it resonated with me very much.
I cannot say "Thanks" enough. I have spoken about my experience, many times since yesterday and cannot wait to come back next year.
With that said, I would love to try to set up a day with some friends and family at Beaver Pond sometime in the future. My Sister-in-Law will be visiting from Alaska soon and would LOVE to take on some clays and some birds. What would be the best way to coordinate this. It might be just her and I but I am looking to get a group of 6 if possible.
Okay, one last time. Thanks!

John,
I just wanted to let you know that we had a great day today. It’s not often that I can just show up and enjoy a veterans event. It was a top notch event and I hope to participate again in the future.
